Fall 2009 Semester Deadlines

A dropped (or deleted) class is not recorded on the student’s transcript. A withdrawn class is recorded on the student’s transcript with a grade of W. For more info or if you have questions, please contact Nate Whitten, 575.646.3836, 800.646.1901, ncw@nmsu.edu.

• Aug. 31: Last day to DROP minisemester 1 classes.
• Sept. 1: Last day to ADD a class.
• Sept. 1: Last day to DROP a class through MyNMSU.
• Sept. 3: Last day to WITHDRAW from minisemester 1 classes, 50% tuition refund.
• Sept. 4: Last day to DROP a class with a DROP SLIP.
• Sept. 9: Last day to WITHDRAW from minisemester 1 classes, 25% tuition refund.
• Sept. 14: Last day to WITHDRAW from minisemester 1 classes, no tuition refund.
• Sept. 22: Last day to WITHDRAW from a single class, 50% tuition refund.
• Oct. 1: Last day to WITHDRAW from a single class, 25% tuition refund.
• Oct. 2: Last day to apply for Fall graduation.
• Oct. 14: Last day to WITHDRAW from a single class, no tuition refund.
• Nov. 13: Last day to WITHDRAW from all classes, no tuition refund.
