The next big business connection could be just one handshake away. That’s why New Mexico State University’s Arrowhead Center is sponsoring The Entrepreneurs Mixer from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 29, at The Mix Pacific Rim Cuisine at 1001 E. University Ave. Admission is free and food and drink specials will be available.
“Networking really helps small businesses build a support system,” said Crescent Muhammad, a program development specialist for the Arrowhead Center. “This is a great way to meet new people, make contacts and exchange ideas. We’d like to see more of these events in this part of the state.”
She stressed the mixer was not solely for entrepreneurs, but also for students studying business, people retired from the business world and anyone curious about business, wanting to start a business or looking to invest in business.
Those who plan on attending should bring business cards.
