Dr. Boberg earned B.S. degrees in Economics and Business Administration and a M.S. degree in Industrial Administrative Sciences at Iowa State University, and his Ph.D. in Business Logistics at the Pennsylvania State University.

He has been the director and/or assistant director of the Center for Economic Development Research and Assistance (funded by the Economic Development Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce) and the International Business Facilitation Center (funded by the State of NM).

Currently, he is the Associate Dean/Director for Research and Economic Development for the NMSU College of Business.
