Dr. Tim Query (left) receives the Senior Research Award presented by College of Business Dean, Dr. Garrey Carruthers.
Dr. Tim Query was recognized at a reception on August 17, 2009, where he was presented with the College of Business Senior Research Award for the 2008-2009 academic year.
Dr. Query’s primary contributions to his field are in the areas of interdisciplinary applications and international aspects of risk management and insurance.
Dr. Maria de Boyrie receives the Service to the College Award from Business dean, Dr. Garrey Carruthers.
Dr. Maria de Boyrie was also recognized at the reception on August 17, 2009, with the 2008-2009 College of Business Service to the College Award.
Dr. de Boyrie’s many service activities include holding a seat in the Faculty Senate and serving as its Parliamentarian for the previous four years, serving as supervisor of Finance Tutoring, numerous College committee memberships, and most recently her election to the Board of Directors of the International Trade and Finance Association (IT&FA).
Dr. Roger Johns
Dr. Roger Johns was honored with a Journal of Legal Studies in Education “Distinguished Paper” award at the 2009 Annual Meeting of the Academy of Legal Studies in Business. Dr. John’s award winning article, “The Matrix: A Pedagogical Tool for Teaching Employment Discrimination Law”, appears in the Winter/Spring 2008, Vol 25, No. 1. issue of the Journal of Legal Studies in Education.
