International Alumni Scholarship
Overview
A limited number of scholarships are available to international students through this program. The purpose of this scholarship is to assist academically qualified Mexican graduate students to attend New Mexico State University.
An international student who is awarded this scholarship will be allowed to pay tuition at the in-state rate and receive a $100.00 award that will be applied to their student account for each semester they receive the award.
Criteria
Preference will be given to students from Northern Mexico. To be eligible, a graduate student must have:
- The US equivalent of a bachelors degree from an accredited institution and cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.25.
- 6 to 15 graduate credit hours.
- Cumulative graduate GPA of 3.5; minimum GPA of 3.0.
- TOEFL of 550/213.
Application Procedures
Students who wish to be considered for this scholarship should be admitted to the graduate program at New Mexico State University, have an official transcript and an official proof of English proficiency on file with the International Student & Scholar Services.
