College of Business: Computer Operations

Technology in the Classroom

The College of Business has 12 classrooms equipped with a projection system. Equipped rooms have an onboard computer, laptop connections, VCR and DVD player. All faculty/staff and students in the College may use the equipment. Equipment cabinets will require a key or a combination. Faculty can check out keys from the Dean's office for a semester or can check out a key from the BC Lab on a daily basis. Combination codes will only be given to teaching faculty or GA's. You must talk to Paul Hamilton for the codes. Employees of the BC Lab are asked not to give out this code, but may open the cabinet for you in an emergency situation.

Students in the College may NOT check out keys, but may set up an appointment to have the equipment cabinets opened up for them. Students should first ask their professor for access to the equipment. Otherwise, students can visit the BC Lab in Business Complex Room 309 (phone 646-1098) or email the BC Lab at labmgr@business.nmsu.edu to make an appointment.

If you are using a room that is not equipped with a projection system, you may check out a computer and laptop from the BC Lab. It is important that all appointments and reservations are made PRIOR to class to assure we have the resources to assist you.
