About Al Berryman

MBA. NMSU – Finance
Mr. Berryman, CPCU, CLU, joined the faculty at NMSU in 2005. He is the Director of the NMSU Insurance and Financial Services Center and teaches a variety of insurance courses, as well as financial analysis and markets and personal finance. He has many years of professional experience in the insurance industry.

Prior to joining NMSU, Al was in the insurance industry for 35 years, primarily as an owner of an independent insurance agency. He has also worked as a claims adjuster, marketing representative, underwriting manager and was the general manager of a property and casualty insurance company.

In addition to an MBA from NMSU, Al holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations.
