Student Profiles
Ben Furlow : Experience
The New Mexico State University Master of Business Administration Program is well structured and composed of a tightly knit group of students and instructors. Material that may have been covered in undergraduate classes is readdressed and expounded upon, reemphasizing points that may have been glossed over in the past. Also, new formulas and theories are presented to us, the graduate student, equipping us with an extensive arsenal of knowledge to apply to many a situation.
The professors at the College of Business Administration & Economics are definitely in a league of their own. Willing to accommodate students outside of office hours and provide the one-on-one attention that some assignments require, these instructors are an invaluable resource that students in similar colleges are deprived of having.
Overall, the camaraderie developed with other graduate students and the lessons learned inside and out of the classroom have infused me with a desire to aggressively seek out the career I want, knowing that I have the knowledge to do so.

Attending the NMSU MBA program has been a great investment. The lessons gained inside the classroom are easily transferable to the real world and the friendships formed while in the program will undoubtedly last a lifetime. The key benefit gained from the program has been the potential to pursue many opportunities that may not have otherwise been available.

Pia Albinsson: Experience
The one year MBA program at NMSU has given me a chance to develop my management skills even further than work experience would have alone. The core classes give the student a broad view of what challenges managers are faced with today. I am particularly satisfied with the close student faculty relationships I have had the opportunity to establish during the year. The faculty is very supportive and helpful to all students at NMSU.
