In January 2012, Executive Vice President and Provost Wendy K. Wilkins led a delegation of faculty and administrators to Costa Rica and Chile to explore possible collaborations with educational institutions in those countries -- including CATIE near Turrialba, Costa Rica, and the Universidad de Concepcion and Universidad de Magallanes in Chile.

NMSU students can now study in the land of the Incas

The university recently signed a student-exchange agreement with the Universidad Católica del Perú in Lima. NMSU’s Office of Study Abroad will be administering the program.
