A new Miss Native American NMSU was crowned Friday night after a tie between the first runner-up and the new princess was resolved by judges and organizers.

NMSU hosts ‘Pow’erful display of tribal dance

Native Americans gathered in a festive and spiritual expression of dance and song at NMSU Saturday and Sunday, as they partook in the third annual Rio Grande Pow Wow.
