In January 2012, Executive Vice President and Provost Wendy K. Wilkins led a delegation of faculty and administrators to Costa Rica and Chile to explore possible collaborations with educational institutions in those countries -- including CATIE near Turrialba, Costa Rica, and the Universidad de Concepcion and Universidad de Magallanes in Chile.

NMSU student organization awarded for its efforts

The New Mexico State University chapter of the National Society of Minorities in Hospitality came up big this past weekend, winning several awards during their national conference in Pittsburgh. NSMH is a student-led organization in the School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management at NMSU.
