- POLICY MISS CLASS:
If you miss a class submit 3-page single spaced paper you bring to next class attended, based upon on line book; deduct 5% final grade, if not made up. Paper is written up a traditional kind of paper, with thesis, introduction, three paragraphs developing the body, your conclusion, and list of references. If you prefer, you can write it up like your regular story assignments (3 scenes with dialogue & 3 chapter applications).

Please
bring your WEEKLY CHAPTER printed out since sometime we will be using the worksheets
& cases in class.
- POLICY TYPED HOMEWORK Turn typed paper (3 pages single space) in for each of your 6 short assignments assignments (except for 1st day if you were here for that teaching, or 2nd assignment done in class, or costume day which has no written assignment if you came dress in costume deemed adequate by the audience;
Turn them in, in class (on time) or if late, deduct 5 points (because TA's have a life too). Use scene
and dialogue format with 3 quotes (you explain and relate to your story) from book applied to your story (and doing this whould give you near perfect scores).
- POLICY MISSED ASSIGNMENT: Each
HOME WORK ASSIGNMENT is due class day as listed in assignment calendar- .
Bring typed single space copy to class. Keep a copy for yourself (in case it is misplaced). We are not responsible for lost homework.
- POLICY CHEATING: Anyone who plagiarizes or signs an
attendance sheet for another team mate will loose all participation points and
receive failing grade (F) for the course. Plagarism is defined here as copying form another person's story, or putting in a citation from some web site or text that you do not put in quotation marks, and do not cite explicitly. If in doubt, please contact your TA and instructor. Ignorance of what is or is not plagarism, will not count as an excuse.
- POLICY CELL PHONES: Professionals do not use
cell phones in class: NO CELL PHONES OR TEXT MESSAGING from time instructor
enters the room until the last student has left the room; Penalty will be
loss of participate grade that day; plus you will get to be immediate volunteer
for theatre. Two offenses will lower your grade in the course, e.g. from A
to B.
- POLICY FIRST CHOICE: every person must pick unique leader; no doubling up. LEADER CHOICES LIST; Bring your choice to class; first
come first serve.
- POLICY LANGUAGE: University policy does not allow lewd language. So protect yourself, do not use it in written assignments or skits.
- POLICY No FREE RIDERS! Deadwood can be tossed overboard and picked up by new team at any time by team or instructor.
