- Decide how much stretch to undertake in readings
- Everyone is on a team for the chapter event, but you can decide to work alone on the term project, or work with your Team.
- Decide to do a Business Consultation or Service Learning Project
ASSIGNMENTS - The structure of your assignments
NOTE: ALL READINGS SHOULD BE DONE BY DAY THEY ARE POSTED. ALL WEB POSTINGS ARE DUE 24 HOURS BEFORE THE CLASS TIME WHERE THE QUESTION IS LISTED AS DUE (IN summer we relax this to NOON of the class day for answers and Five P.M. for buddy responses). LATE WORK WILL BE SCORED LOWER THAN ON-TIME WORK. See Attendance/Late Policy.
MOST important - in your answers have a story to tell from your own experience, apply three of the readings or web documents (with cites/quotes), and please make answer real for you.
2 Requirements: (1) Please post answers to all assigned questions to the WEB CT BULLETIN FORUM and also (2) please post a response to one other student's answer. If your buddy's answer is not there on time, then select any answer that is posted to reply to; Buddy will get a late score deduction. Thank you.
If you have read any assigned or recommended chapter or web document before in a prior course, please skip it and choose something different to read.
I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT IF THE TEAM LEADING PARTICULAR SEGMENTS OF THE TERM, FOCUSES THE READING CHOICES & ASSIGNMENTS FOR THE CLASS (SUGGEST SECTIONS, PAGES, AND SOME INSTEAD OF OTHERS).
PLEASE DO NOT READ EVERYTHING - PICK AND CHOOSE WHAT IS BEST FOR EACH TEAM MEMBER! That is why it is management. It is your education, please manage it. Suggestion: pick a number of hours each week, read away until the alarm goes off. If you want to read more, call it value added MBA education. RULES OF THE GAME--> Question answer - POSTING DUE NOON (for answers) and 4PM (for responses) ON NITE OF SCHEDULED CLASS TIME - Each person please come to class having answered Question and responded (posted) to one other person's answer (please reply directly to their message to keep forum TIDY).
Please consult SAMPLE Great and Weak answers before beginning. But, note that I have changed the questions this term.
There is no credit given or taken away for opinions, but you will need CRITICAL reflection and citation to get points.
