Note for Those with Disabilities

     La Fonda is a truly historic property, and was built in an era when little attention was
given to issues of access for those with disabilities. In recent years, changes have been
made to the structure to make it accessible. However, not all routes through the hotel are
readily apparent to the newcomer.

     We encourage all conference attendees with disabilities to book their accommodations in
La Fonda, to make access as easy as possible. We also encourage such attendees to
directly contact April Gallegos, who is working with us to plan the conference. If she is
informed of your time and date of arrival, she can arrange to have someone meet you at
your check-in to show you the easiest access routes through the facility.
