The third in the nation to be endorsed by the Professional Golfers’ Association of America (PGA) in 1987, NMSU’s PGA Golf Management Program is one of a limited number of programs fully accredited and endorsed by the PGA.

Our 4½-year PGA Golf Management Program leads to a BBA with a major in Marketing and a specialization in Golf Management. We prepare graduates for careers as PGA members at various golf facilities and golf industry positions.

NMSU is one of the few PGA Golf Management universities to own a golf course. We’ve hosted numerous NCAA championships, Callaway PGA Junior Series tournaments, USGA and Section PGA Championships. NMSU conducts more than 50 PGA Golf Management sanctioned golf tournaments in an academic year, paying out more than $120,000 in scholarships, prize money and gift certificates.
