Qualifying NMSU undergraduate business students may complete two MBA courses while they are still undergraduates and may count those courses toward both their undergraduate degree and the MBA.
Qualifications. Seniors in the College of Business may participate in this program if they have a 3.5 or higher GPA and have completed the following courses with grades of B- or higher:
- MATH 142G
- A ST 251 (or STAT 251 or A ST 311)
- ACCT 221
- ACCT 222
- ECON 251G
- FIN 341
Eligible Courses. Students may take ECON 503 to count for both the MBA degree and as the required upper division economics course for the BBA.
In addition, students may take any of the following to count as the upper division business elective in the business core:
- ACCT 503
- BCIS 502
- BLAW 502
- FIN 503
- MGT 502
- MGT 512
- MKTG 503
- or an approved elective course for the MBA
