Business Advisory Council (BAC)

Meeting Dates

Spring 2017: April 27-28, 2017
Fall 2017: September 14-15, 2017
Active BAC members are asked to attend two meetings each year which are generally held on a Friday during the months of April and September.

Membership Requirements

Business Advisory Council membership is comprised of:

  • Local, regional, national, and international business leaders
  • Alumni from NMSU and the College of Business
  • Friends of NMSU and the College of Business

Members are asked to commit to a term of two years.

Members are asked to contribute a minimum of $500.00 per year to the College of Business. These contributions are committed to the Dean’s Excellence fund to promote the college, increase alumni giving, provide student support, and fund academic needs throughout the college. Contributions are due and payable by July 31 each year. Contribution levels are three-tiered:

  • Platinum (Corporate): $2,000
  • Gold (Entrepreneurial): $1,000
  • Silver (Individual): $500
