G. Carl Everett (’73)
Everett is a 1973 NMSU graduate. He joined Intel Corporation in 1978 as a sales engineer, later becoming World-wide Marketing Manager, Director of North American Sales and Corporate Vice President.
At the ceremony Everett said, “I think that this is an absolutely important piece of promoting New Mexico State and the outstanding institution that it has been, it is and will always be in terms of delivering educational opportunity and value that makes a difference to students. And, it made a difference to me.”
J. Paul Boushelle (’58)
Boushelle, a 1958 NMSU graduate, is Executive Vice President and Manager of Electronic Banking Delivery at First Security Bank in Albuquerque.
He has been a resident of New Mexico since 1946, with both of his parents serving as professors at NMSU.
Boushelle said the ceremony was a very special affair, something he never could have imagined.
Ben H. Haines, Jr. (’71)
Ben Haines is President, Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors of First National Bank of Doña Ana County.
Haines, a 1971 NMSU graduate, said, “New Mexico State has been a very important influence in the lives of all of my family members dating back for several generations. It means a lot to us that this university has been here through the years. Most of my family has attended NMSU and a number of them are graduates of the business school. I’m really humbled and flattered by the honor. I never imagined that my name could come up as a possible candidate for something like this.”
