Beginning Fall 2010: E ST course registration prefix becomes A ST

March 29, 2010 by College of Business

NMSU’s College of Business has changed the name of its Master of Science in Experimental Statistics (ESTAT) program to the Master of Science in Applied Statistics.

The new name more accurately reflects the program’s curriculum.

Importantly, while the courses will stay the same, the prefix for all courses, graduate and undergraduate, taught by faculty in the College of Business will change.

Beginning in the fall 2010 semester, students who want to register for these classes will find them under the new prefix “A ST” and not the old prefix “E ST.” For summer 2010 the old “E ST” prefix still applies.

For more information about this change, contact the Department of Economics and International Business at 646-2113.
