New Mexico State University Career Services will hold the Career Connections 2008 to offer students an opportunity to meet with employers on Tuesday, Jan. 29, and Wednesday, Jan. 30. The career fair will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day in the Corbett Center Student Union Ballrooms.

Students can expect to meet with representatives from Intel Corporation, IBM, Boeing, Ford Motor Company and many more employers about jobs, co-ops and internships.

The first and second day will be divided into job themes. The first day will be business, agricultural and liberal arts, and the second will be engineering and science.

“Career Connections will kick off the campus recruiting season,” said Rosanne Bensley, the assistant director of NMSU Career Services. “There will be more than 100 employers at the fair during the two days, and we encourage students to participate in both days to make even more opportunities.”

Participants should dress business casual and bring a copy of their resume to make good impressions with the employers. Registration with Career Services also is highly encouraged for continued contact with employers throughout the spring semester.
