Veterans’ Theater: Act One rehearsal

Students in the Sustainable Development and Global Environment course will present a 10-minute, one-act, free performance at Sweet CeCe’s open mic event at 7 p.m. March 18, at Sweet CeCe’s, 901 E. University Ave., Suite B. Ten percent of your sweet purchase goes to fund costumes and sets for the full theater production.

The class project uses fundraising events and crowdsourcing to help create economic sustainability for Las Cruces veterans experiencing homelessness in transitional living at Camp Hope and Oak Street to start their own business.
