Invitation! Cream the Deans, Spring 2010

March 11, 2010 by Malcolm Winston via email

Dear Faculty and Staff

Once again, the brothers of Delta Sigma Pi, the professional business Fraternity from the College of Business, are hosting “Cream the Dean” this semester on April 6, 2010, from noon to 2pm in Trader’s Plaza. We would like to thank everyone who participated in last year’s event. With your help we raised over $2,000 for the Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico.

This year, all the funds raised will be donated to help the relief efforts in Haiti and Chile after the recent earthquakes. Haiti and Chile are devastated and consequently are in dire need of food, water and supplies. All donations will go directly to the American Red Cross to help with the relief efforts towards Haiti and Chile.

Dean Garrey Carruthers has set this year’s goal at $4000, so we are turning to you once more in seeking our goal. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. If you decide to donate $50, you will personally get to cream Dean Carruthers or any of the other Deans or other participants with a cream pie at the event on April 6th.

If you would like to donate or possibly participate in our event by taking pies to the face, please email Marcus Benally at by 5pm on March 19.

We will be collecting the donations during the week of March 29th after spring break.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact our Cream the Dean Chair, Malcolm Winston, at (505) 550-2388 or by email at The fraternity can also be reached by email at

Thank you for your support!
