Dear NMSU Faculty, Staff, and Students:

On behalf of the Arrowhead Center, I invite you and your students to an evening celebrating social entrepreneurship and innovative thought on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at the Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces.

Mr. Blake Mycoskie, Founder and Chief Shoe Giver of TOMS Shoes (www.tomsshoes.com), will be presenting “The TOMS Shoes Story.”

Mr. Mycoskie is an innovative social entrepreneur who founded a for-profit business that focuses on a one-for-one model; he donates one pair of shoes to needy children around the world for every pair purchased.

Mr. Mycoskie has participated in President Clinton’s Global Initiative University and at the Aspen Ideas Festival. He exemplifies how social entrepreneurship is changing the world and students can be an integral part of that change.

Doors open at 6:30pm in the ballrooms at Hotel Encanto and the event begins at 7pm.

The event is free and open to the public, but we ask that you register online at http://tomsshoes.eventbrite.com.

Please bring a print out of your confirmation sheet to the event.

If you have any questions regarding the event please contact me at 575.646.7036.

Thank you,
