Feb. 22, 2009: Memories of an Historic Campus Home and Department of Energy Grant (Jim Peach and Meghan Starbuck)
It’s a red brick house on University Avenue that served as home sweet home to ten NMSU presidents. In this week’s show, the last person to live in the historic building shares memories of what is today known as Nason House.
Also, we get an update on a Department of Energy grant that is allowing NMSU economics experts (Jim Peach and Meghan Starbuck, Department of Economics and International Business) to explore how the state can better utilize its fossil fuel resources and deal with water issues to improve the economy.
Our ”Amazing Aggie” of the week is Cynthia Conine, who works as a Program Coordinator in the Senior Assistant to the President Office at NMSU.
