Beasley, Mitchell & Co., a Las Cruces accounting firm, has announced the promotion of two employees, Christopher Salcido, CPA, and Michelle Schirmer, to senior accountant.
After growing up in Las Cruces, earned a master’s degree in accounting from New Mexico State University (NMSU), where he was a member of Beta Alpha Psi.
Salcido provides individual and corporate tax preparation and planning services for a wide range of clients at Beasley, Mitchell & Co. He has more than six years of professional experience.
A member of the American Institute of CPAs, Salcido has served as president of the Doña Ana Chapter of CPAs.
Schirmer earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from NMSU.
After starting with Beasley, Mitchell & Co. in 2004 as a college intern, Schirmer went to work for regional accounting firms in Phoenix and southern New Mexico She returned to the firm in 2012 and has more than nine years of accounting experience.
Schirmer is a CPA candidate and currently specializes in individual and business consulting and taxation, with a concentration on multi-state filings. She is originally from Carlsbad.
