Border issues, health care focus of second day
LAS CRUCES – Speakers offered frank assessments of Mexico-U.S. border relations and health-care reform Thursday during the last morning of the Pete Domenici Public Policy Conference at New Mexico State University. David Najera-Reyes, minister counselor for the Mexican Foreign Ministry, offered a view of border issues from his country’s perspective, saying what is needed most is not “assistance but mutual cooperation.””
