The award-winning NMSU Model U.N. team, in conjunction with the NMSU International Relations Institute, invites you to “A Night at the U.N.” a benefit dinner to help send the team to compete in China.
Please join us Thursday, November 13, 2008, 6:00 PM, at the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum.
Our event will feature a keynote address by Former U.S. Ambassador Joseph Wilson, author of “The Politics of Truth: Inside the Lies that Put the White House on trial and Betrayed My Wife’s CIA Identity.”
The night will also include a live auction featuring items such as dinner at the home of Former U.S. Ambassador and Mrs. Delano Lewis, a Francisco Romero painting, a hot air balloon ride, a night in the Queen’s Suite at Josephina’s Historical Inn on the Plaza at Mesilla, a three crosses 14-karat-gold pendant from Glenn Cutter Jewelers and Gallery, and much, much more!
International cuisine will be provided by Dickerson’s Catering, and every table will be themed to represent a different member state of the United Nations.
Corporate tables are available, and when you buy a whole table, you may choose which country your table will represent!
Our list of countries currently includes U.N. member states our team has represented at previous conferences, such as Egypt, Spain, Israel, and Denmark. We are also offering tables themed on Italy, Brazil, India, Greece, and many more!
Let us know today which country you would like to represent! Sponsors will receive recognition in the event program.
