The Woodrow Wilson New Mexico MBA Fellowship in Education Leadership recruits and prepares experienced educators, who will complete an executive-style MBA program that blends an education-based business curriculum with clinical experience in schools, corporations, and nonprofits.
The WW MBA Fellowship in Education Leadership at NMSU is PED approved as an administrator preparation program and comprises 12 courses taken over two years. All classes will be delivered in a blended format with content online, as well as face-to-face.
What the Fellowship offers:
- Each Fellow receives a stipend toward tuition and expenses during the MBA program.
- The curriculum provides specialized preparation in areas such as leadership, quality management, talent management, data analysis, and organizational change—all seen through an education lens.
- Fellows commit to serve for three years in approved school or district leadership positions within their states. They gain the knowledge, skills, expertise, and tools to progress into district and/or state leadership positions or go on to lead other education entities. They also receive three years of executive coaching once they enter their leadership positions.
