New Mexico State University’s Alumni Association has announced the Spring 2000 Outstanding Seniors and Graduates for NMSU and Doña Ana Branch Community College.
The Alumni Association honors one graduating senior from each of NMSU’s six colleges, the Graduate School and one international student. Outstanding Graduates for DABCC are chosen from each of its divisions and the White Sands Education Center.
NMSU’s Spring 2000 Outstanding Seniors are: C. Nathaniel Roybal, an animal science major in the College of Agriculture and Home Economics; Ursa Brown Glaberman, a biology major in the College of Arts and Sciences; Gwendolyn A. Bruno, an accounting major in the College of Business Administration and Economics; Karen Hanson, a secondary education, math and language arts major in the College of Education; Augusto Roman, an electrical engineering major in the College of Engineering; and Abbie Polk, a social work major in the College of Health and Social Services.
NMSU’s Spring 2000 Outstanding International Senior is Olga Lyudovyk from Kiev, Ukraine. Lyudovyk is a business computer systems major in the business college.
Bonavita Quinto is NMSU’s Spring 2000 Outstanding Graduate Student. She will receive her doctoral degree in educational administration from the education college.
The DABCC Spring 2000 Outstanding Graduates are: Rebecca Taulbee, business and information systems division; Lori Ann A. Herrera, technical studies division; Ean Paige, health and public services division; and Melissa Wall, White Sands Education Center.
The Outstanding Seniors and Graduate Student will be honored at the Alumni Association’s Pre-Commencement Buffet at noon May 13 in the Corbett Center Ballrooms. NMSU’s Spring 2000 commencement will be held at 2 p.m. May 13 in the Pan American Center. DABCC Outstanding Graduates were recognized April 13.
