Dynamic discussions on culture from three expert, award-winning NMSU professors will be presented at Salon Discovery from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, in the S.P. and Estelle Yates Theater in Pete V. Domenici Hall.
The event also will be webcast.
Three 15-minute talks will be followed by question-and answer-sessions. Light refreshments will wrap up the event.
Donald C. Rousch Award winner Stuart Munson-McGee will present “The Science of Chocolate.”
Carmen Gimenez Smith, American Book Award winner and National Book Critics Award finalist, will speak about “The New Gutenberg Revolution: Small Press in the 21st Century.”
Regents Professor and NMSU NCAA Faculty Athletics Representative Jim Peach will present “Who’s on First? Stories about Sports and Economics.”
Admission is free and free refreshments will be served after the talks.
