Transfer students must complete a minimum number of credits at the College of Business.
Step 1: NMSU reviews all transfer credits from other colleges and universities and mails you a copy of the preliminary evaluation.
Step 2: COB’s transfer criteria are more rigorous that NMSU’s with respect to business courses. Transfer of credits for upper division business course is tentative and subject to further review by the College of Business. Business and accounting courses taken at institutions not accredited by AACSB will not necessarily count towards a business or accounting degree from NMSU. Business majors with transfer credit are urged to contact the Deans’ office at the College of Business for additional review far in advance of an expected graduation date.
