Welcome to the New Mexico State University College of Business, where our vision is to be recognized as one of the premier business programs in the Southwest. Our students are active, engaged and involved in the university, the community and the state. They are leaders of student government, founders and organizers of student groups, and recipients of awards and honors. We are dedicated to preparing students for careers in all aspects of business and offer majors in Management, Marketing, Finance, Accounting and Information Systems, and Economics and International Business. Our commitment to you is outlined in our Mission Statement and Strategic Plan.

Our college first opened in 1964 with ten faculty members. Today, it is the largest business college in New Mexico with more than 70 faculty members and 2200 students, 45% of which are minority. The college is accredited by AACSB International--The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. As a former Governor of the State of New Mexico, and a long time New Mexico businessman and educator, I can assure you that we are “living the vision” at New Mexico State University.
