Arturo H. Cano Bejar is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems from the College of Business at New Mexico State University. Before that role, he was a Postdoctoral Scholar of the Department of Information Systems at the W. P. Carey School of Business in Arizona State University. Arturo is also a member to the Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society of Taiwan.

His research is in the field of Information Systems Management with a focus on users’ resistance, adoption, and diffusion of information technology in social media, technology markets, mHealth platforms, and recommendation systems. He has published in Information & Management and Health Policy & Technology. He has won the Best Paper Award from the DIGIT 2023 Workshop at ICIS 2023. He also presented his investigations at various workshops such as MISQ Virtual Author Development Workshop, DIGIT (pre-ICIS workshop), INFORMS, and more. He teaches courses around security and privacy, and data analytics at his department.
