The Marketing major is offered through the Marketing Department.
Advertising is a concentration offered within the Marketing major that will equip you with core skills needed in advertising and in developing and managing advertising campaigns. Additional focus is placed on developing television and radio commercials, magazines, newspapers, social media ads, and outdoor advertising.
You may earn this degree exclusively through a traditional classroom format. However, you must work closely with an academic advisor to select and sequence the courses — many required courses are offered only once a year in traditional format. The department has a “master schedule” to assist you and your advisor in the selection of courses using the face-to-face delivery model.
