The Marketing major is offered through the Marketing Department.
Professional Selling is a concentration offered within the Marketing major that will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to be consultative sellers. It develops a blend of hard and soft skills that are necessary to be successful in this very analytical discipline. It fosters professional selling skills and techniques, the knowledge necessary to properly administer a sales force, and the ability to start an entrepreneurial path on how to build, manage, and maintain a consultative sales force.
You may earn this degree exclusively through a traditional classroom format. However, you must work closely with an academic advisor to select and sequence the courses — many required courses are offered only once a year in traditional format. The department has a “master schedule” to assist you and your advisor in the selection of courses using the face-to-face delivery model.
